The College of Science at the University of Zakho held a specialized scientific workshop under the theme World Corrosion Awareness Day 2026, with the participation of university leadership and academic staff.
The workshop was conducted on Sunday, April 26, 2026, under the supervision of the President of the University of Zakho, Dr. Diyar A. Saeed, , and in the presence of the Vice President for Students Affairs, Dr. Ramadan J. Mustafa, along with the Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Diyar A. Balij. The workshop addressed a range of academic themes related to the phenomenon of corrosion and its scientific and technical implications. Specialized experts delivered detailed presentations, offering analytical insights into the causes, mechanisms, and impacts of corrosion across various fields.
